Ronald H. Petkus

Ronald H. Petkus age 84 of Parryville, PA passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Forest Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Weatherly, PA. Ronald was born in Palmerton, PA on June 21, 1941, son of the late William and Sophie (Kolek) Petkus. He was a 1960 graduate of Polk Township High School in Kresgeville, PA, it was the last class to graduate from that school. He had worked as a truck driver for Mayflower Trucking Company for many years. Ronald also owned and operated Ronald H. Petkus Excavating in Kresgeville, PA. Ronald also was a cattle rancher in Missouri for 12 years. Ronald was a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and shooting. He loved to travel out west to hunt elk, caribou, mule deer, antelope and whitetails. Ronald was a member of the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club. Ronald is survived by a sister: Carol George of Wind Gap, PA, brother: Richard Petkus and wife Elaine of Whitehall, PA, sister-in-law: Shirley Petkus of Brodheadsville, PA and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: William Petkus.
