Ronald Strobel Obituary

Ronald H. Strobel, 79, passed away late Tuesday night, January 21, 2025, at Frederick Living in Zieglerville, PA, where he lived for the last two years. He formerly resided in Schwenksville, PA since 2019, after moving from Denver Colorado. Born April 5, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Herman and Elsie (Heinrich) Strobel. He was a graduate of Abington High School and was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. After honorably serving his country, he put himself through college, earning his bachelor's degree in marketing from West Chester University. Mr. Strobel moved to Denver, CO as a young man and spent the next 42 years living his best life. He loved the beauty of Colorado where he enjoyed his favorite hobbies of fly fishing, skiing, boating, camping and hiking. He treasured time with his canine companion, Maggie, and time spent at Lake Powell. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and his wonderful sense of humor. Ron loved a good party with lots of family and friends! Surviving is a sister, Elsie Bartram of Telford, PA; a brother, Bob Strobel and his wife, Carol, of Green Lane, PA; his devoted close friend and cousin, Bill Fox, of Trumbauersville, PA; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Bartram. Services will be announced in the near future. Arrangements are by the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia Township, PA.

I worked with Ron at Mid Continent and always enjoyed his positive attitude and his wonderful sense of humor. Although I haven´t had the opportunity to see him much in the last few years I will definitely miss his enthusiasm.
