Russell Scheler Obituary

Russell Frank Scheler III, 74 of Douglassville PA, passed away July 28, 2025 in Reading Hospital. Born July 29, 1950 to the late Russell Frank Scheler Jr. and Regina Rose (West) Scheler. Russell was the jack of all trades. He was gifted with many talents. From mechanics and autobody work to carpentry. He was a perfectionist with anything he touched. Prior to his retirement in 2008, he worked for New Holland Block Plant as a Heavy Machine Operator. He was a kid at heart and had many hobbies throughout his time on earth. From racing his Duster, owning his own tractor trailer, racing go carts, and riding his 4 wheeler and motorcycles. He met many friends along the way. Russell is survived by his wife Wynne (Peiffer). Two daughters Teresa, husband Thomas O'Linn; Wendy, husband Gennaro ScottoDiluzio; son Russell E.; brother Richard Scheler, and sister Rhonda, husband Steve Hallman. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Autumn, Kara, Evelyn, and Walter and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson Thomas Jacob O'Linn. Russell was a member and Deacon at Tri County Bible Church. A memorial services will be held at Tri County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville PA on Tuesday August 5, 2025 at 10:00. The family will recieve between 10-10:30, services to follow at 10:30. Thomas Bailey will officiate the service. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Russell F.
