Ruth Capeci Obituary

Obituary of Ruth P. Capeci Ruth Pearl Capeci passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She had just turned 90 years old two days earlier. Ruth was born in Batavia, New York, where she grew up on a dairy farm. She raised her family in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, before moving to the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, area. She attended Green Lane Bible Institute, now the University of Valley Forge, where she met and married her husband, Pasqualino Capeci Jr, who preceded her in death (2015) after over fifty years of marriage. Ruth was a long-time member of the Assemblies of God; she played piano and organ for most of her adult life in local AG churches. In Pittsfield, Ruth worked as a home health aid serving primarily retired missionaries. She also owned and operated a Christian bookstore for a period of time.
