Sally Hickey Obituary

Sally Frances Hickey, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2025, at her home in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Sally was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wardy and Christina Castle. She was married to Jim Cole of Massachusetts and Milton Hickey of Claremore, Oklahoma - both deceased. She is survived by her three children Nancy Dorais (Greg) of Whitehall, Linda Adams (Steve) of Kansas, and Dan Cole of Lehigh Township, PA. She is also survived by step-children David Hickey (Linda) of Oklahoma and Carol Hoffman of Colorado and her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Sally was a fervent Christian and a staunch Republican throughout her life. She actively shared her faith both at home and during multiple mission trips to Central America. She worked as an LPN for years and at age 50 graduated from Tulsa University as an RN. Her special love was working with children. She taught many children's Bible classes and worked as a Pediatric nurse at Claremore Hospital and at Children's Medical Center and Clinic. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family in Connecticut, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. Services: A Memorial Service will be held in Oklahoma at a later date. Sally's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
