Samuel G. Roma

Samuel G. Roma, 80, of Forks Township, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, in St. Luke's Hospital-Anderson Campus.
Born August 5, 1944, in Bangor, PA, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Fisher) Roma.
He and his wife, Linda J. (Messer) Roma, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on January 22, 2025.
Sam was last employed by Charles Chrin Companies. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, working for Local 542 Operating Engineers for 25 years.
He owned patents for a paint pourer and barbeque grill scraper.
Sam enjoyed swimming, boating, and listening to Oldies music.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife, Linda, is a daughter, Nicole Roma, of Nazareth; a sister, Concetta Powell and her husband Stephen, of Forks Township; four grandchildren, Michael and his wife Samantha, Kelsey and her husband Carl, Nicolas, and Tabatha and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Emma. He was predeceased by a son, John M. Roma, a daughter, Tracie Roma, and a sister, Celestina R. Roma.
