Scott R. Bieber

Scott R. Bieber, 72, of Emmaus, passed away on September 2, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital – Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Susan E. (Kerchner) Bieber and they celebrated 36 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Marlene (Hieter) Bieber. Scott was a graduate of Emmaus High School and DeSales University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Bell Labs for 21 years and previously worked for Sandia National Lab. Scott was a devout Philadelphia Eagles fan who loved music, playing guitar, and burning wood.

Survivors: Wife; Children, Lauren Bieber (Patricia Shutt), Brandon Bieber, Sean Kotch (Michelle), and Tanya Brown; Grandchildren, Devina, Konur, Isolde, and Ellyana; Great-Grandchildren, Kaiden and Otto; Sisters, Donna Opsatnick (Tom) and Tina Luther (Jo Garcia); Mother-In-Law, Lotte Kerchner; Brother-In-Law, Ray Kerchner (Linda) and Marvin Kerchner; Sister-In-Law, Sheryl Kerchner (Helen); Nephews, Joseph and Joshua Opsatnick; Canine Companion, Loki. Scott was predeceased by his feline companion, Merlin.

Services: 2 PM Friday, September 12, 2025 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus. A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM Friday in the funeral home. www.BKRFH.com
