Shakuntla Beri

Shakuntla Beri, of Allentown, PA, was a source of limitless love whose presence touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. On Friday, March 7, 2025, at the age of 85, Shakuntla was gently and peacefully taken into God's arms. Born in India, on June 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Lorind and Jamuna Batra. She immigrated to the United States in 1969 with her husband, Parmatha Beri, and their family. She completed a bachelor's degree from Lycoming College in Special Education and worked as a teacher in several institutions. Shakuntla partnered with her husband to build a successful construction business in the commercial sector. Her faith was unshakable, she spent countless hours at various temples and religious institutions continually learning deeper meanings of her faith Survivors: son, Rajive Beri and his wife, Lorie; daughter, Anjna Andresen and her husband Aaron; Grandsons, Jeremy Kattner, Joshua Beri and husband, Spenser, Jonah Beri and wife Madeline; great grandchildren, Emma and Jackson Kattner. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Parmatha Beri and brother Parmod Batra. Services: Viewing and visitation, 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2025, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown, followed by a Hindu Service, 11 a.m.at the same location.
