Sherry L. Chapkovich

Sherry L. Chapkovich, 64, of Allentown, passed away on May 19, 2025 in the Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Daniel B. Chapkovich. Sherry was a precertification specialist at the Lehigh Valley Health Network. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Eleanor Mae (Scheirer) Miller of Allentown and step-daughter of the late Donald I.D. Miller. Sherry was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown. Sherry was a Disney fanatic, especially visiting Epcot Center every chance she could get. She enjoyed tasting the foods from all the different countries. She loved reading, her favorite books were romance novels. Sherry loved family outings, going to the casino, sporting events and watching the Philadelphia Eagles with her son Cory and granddaughter Kayla. She loved her granddaughters, especially watching Kayla at her cheerleading competitions. Survivors: Mother, Sons: Cory J. Chapkovich and his wife Kelly of Allentown, Bailey B. Chapkovich of Allentown and Cody A. Chapkovich and his wife Chelsea of Macungie, Sister: Beth Shoemaker wife of Ken McBee of Allentown, Granddaughters: Sara and Kayla Chapkovich and a Niece: Kelsea Kunkle of Allentown. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the funeral home.
