Prayers for the family and Thanks for the help to Steve. RIP

His treatise on the 1911 extractor, which is the heart and soul of the pistol, is unsurpassed. The time he took to assist others, the vast majority of whom he would never know, speaks volumes about the sort of man he was. If this world had more people like our "cyber friend", "Steve in Allentown", who cared enough to share his time helping others, the world would be a better place. As a fellow Southwest Texas Bobcat, I can say the sky over campus is shining a little less brightly now, but Texas will forever be a better place for having known Steve. Vaya con Dios, amigo!

Steve in Allentown was his user name....... But he was more than just a 1911 addict. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge, a veteran, a father and just a great man....... he was always quick to help wanting nothing in return...... thank you Steve for everything you´ve done.... Rest peacefully...... your family is in my thoughts and prayers

Captain, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.

Dear Lenni and family. I´m so sadden by Steve´s passing. I worked with Steve at LVHN and fondly remember his sense of humor, love for his family, and professionalism. May many happy memories soften your grief.
