Steven Troegler

Steven "Steve" Troegler of Maryland, formerly of Souderton, passed away Saturday May 17. 2025. Born in Philadelphia to Ralph and Alice Troegler (Exner), Steve graduated from Souderton Area High School and then spent two years at West Chester University where he studied music before he transferred to Villanova University where he received his B.A in Psychology.
Steve had a lifelong love for music, especially playing his bass guitar. In recent years, he enjoyed managing his longtime friends' band TennJinn. Steve also played trombone in the school band throughout high school and remained passionate about music well into adulthood. During the 1990s, he volunteered as a treasurer for Boy Scout troop 401 in Souderton, where he supported local youth and community programs. Steve enjoyed creating new recipes and trying new foods from various cuisines. He was also recognized as a mentor to younger associates during his time with W.L Gore.
He is survived by his daughters Stefanie and Paige Troegler; stepsons Josh (Kate) and Todd Kemmerer (Elena), grandkids, Logan, Colin, Ben and Cecilia; brothers Marty, Jeff (Michele) and Ken Troegler (Dawn).
A funeral service will take place at 12 pm on Thursday June 12, 2025, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 11am-12pm. Interment will be private.
