Susan Eveland Obituary

Susan A. Eveland, 72, of Hatfield, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late Lawrence Eveland. Born November 18, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Smith) Rittenhouse. Throughout her life, Susan enjoyed travelling with family and friends alike. A lover of the ocean, she travelled to many beaches and spent time as a child on cruise ships with her parents. In her leisure time, she appreciated watching Family Feud, her favorite game show. What brought Susan the most joy in life was her family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that maintained a strong-willed attitude, a great sense of humor and easily made new friends. Susan is survived by her daughter, Meghan Eveland; her son, Michael Eveland, and wife Brooke; her granddaughter, Alexandra; her sister, Bonnie Grant; and her brother, Carl Rittenhouse. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Halchuck. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
