Taylor Schaible

Taylor C. Schaible, 80, of Telford, husband of Louise (Herring) Schaible, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family. Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Taylor J. and Grace M. (Overholt) Schaible. Community service was something Taylor always believed in. He volunteered for BSA Troop 178 in Kulpsville and served as Assistant Scoutmaster and on the Eagle Court of Honor for many years. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels and helped with Discovery Service Projects, Katrina relief efforts, and Habitat for Humanity. Taylor also volunteered for the Towamencin Youth Association (TYA) and served as coach for many years. He received his bachelor's degree from Delaware Valley College in Business Administration and went on to work for Philco/Ford/Visteon for 35 years as a new model coordinator. Taylor traveled the country on his motorcycle with the Indian Valley Chapter of HOG. He also enjoyed many trips with family and friends across the country and around the world with his loving wife, Louise. Surviving with his wife are sons Taylor "Ryan" Schaible, Troy Schaible, and Todd Schaible, husband of Donna; sisters Mabel Keller, wife of Robert, and Grace McIlmoyle, wife of Thomas; grandchildren Taylor, Stefan, Tae, and Ella Schaible; and sister-in-law Joy Schaible. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Mary McDowell, and Doris Tempest; and brother Paul "Milt" Schaible. Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale with a memorial service to begin at 11:00AM. Luncheon to follow.
