Teresa Rose Petronio

Teresa Rose Petronio, 88, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, at Mosser Nursing Home in Trexlertown, PA. Born in 1937, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Tarantino) Fares. Teresa was the wife of the late Joseph A. Petronio, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage before his passing in 1995. Known for her skill as an interior decorator and designer, Teresa ran a successful business from her home for many years, earning the respect of all who worked with her. She was also a long-time, active member of St. Thomas More R.C.C. in Allentown, PA. Above all, Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great joy in spending time with her family, always offering love, support, and care. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her. Teresa is survived by her children: Joseph A. Petronio, Lisa Coleman, Laura Landis (Craig), Tony Petronio (Michelle), and Mike Petronio (Melissa); daughter-in-law, Jamie Petronio; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Jim and her sisters, Mary Lou and Angel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More R.C.C., 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown, PA. A calling hour will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley at 4501 Crackersport Road, Allentown, PA 18104.
