Tessie DePaolo

Tessie DePaolo, 97, of Roseto passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 19, 2025. She is the daughter of Louis & Louisa Martino Crafa. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony DePaolo who passed away in 2014. Tessie stayed at home to raise her family, and later in life was employed at her brothers' mill, Craf-Mar Manufacturing for several years. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. What she cherished most was spending time with her 7 grandchildren, and she never missed an event in which they were involved. Tessie was a devout Catholic who belonged to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church her entire life. She lead by example in all she did and believed. Throughout her 97 years of life, she always stayed faithful and true to her family and friends. She will be held in our hearts for generations to come. Tessie is survived by two daughters Philomena DePue and husband Joe, and Louise Comunale and husband Frank. Seven Grandchildren- AJ DePue and wife Yvonne, Nick DePue and wife Whitney, Jamie Gassler and husband Dylan, Frank Comunale, Jr. and wife Ashly, Maria Comunale and fiancé Clem, Tony Comunale and wife Deb, Dr. Dan Comunale and wife Mallory. Eight Great Grandchildren, Franco, Marco, Vincent and Enzo Comunale, Milly and Anthony DePue, and Jackson and Bryce Gassler. Tessie was also predeceased by her sisters Rose Crafa, Mary Sabetti, and Mamie Sabatine, and her brothers Daniel Crafa, Nick Crafa, John Crafa, and Louis Crafa. The viewing will be held at Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 6pm to 8pm, and from 9:30 to 10:15 am on Friday, April 25, 2025. There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3rd and Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto followed by a prayer at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Roseto. Online condolences may be offered at www.ruggierofuneralhome.com.
