Theodore Serba Obituary

"Irish proverb, 'Death leaves a heartache no one can heal / Love leaves a memory no one can steal." Theodore Charles Serba Jr completed his journey home. He left his family filled with love and memories they will cherish forever. Ted was born August 5,1930 in Reading Pa., Ted was a devoted husband and father, who loved God, family and nature. He is a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Ted and Janet retired from Wyomissing Hills Pa. to Ocean View Delaware. Ted married his beloved wife, Janet Boyer, on June 14th, 1952, and together raised 7 children. He worked at Carpenter Technology for 32 years as swing grinder. Ted enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. He was famous for such lines as "get out of the boat, get out of the boat quick" and "we will be fine as long as we keep moving" and "No" He was a mister fix it for his family and friends. There was nothing that duct tape and fishing line, could not fix. He loved singing and dancing with Janet. Ted is survived by children: Brenda Stanley, wife of Ronald Stanley. Granddaughter, Jamie Burns, wife of Chad Burns. Great grandsons, Jordan Burns and Dylan Burns. Granddaughter, Tiffany James. Great grandsons, Alexander James and Thomas James. Grandson, Keith Stanley. Great grandsons, Keith Stanley Jr, and Joseph Stanley. Daughter, Diane Clouser, wife of Robin Clouser. Grandson, Robert Speece, husband to Melanie Speece. Great grandchildren, Anthony Speece and McKenna Speece, Granddaughter Tara Speece. Great grandson, Gage Speece. Granddaughter, Jennifer Maurer, wife of David Maurer. Great grandson, Dylan Maurer. Daughter, Susan Berube, wife of Dough Domeshek. Grandsons, Aaron Berube and Austin Berube, husband to Kierstyn Berube. Granddaughter, Lisa Domeshek. Daughter, Linda Capone. Granddaughter, Bridgett Capone, Great grandchildren, Tyler Kase and Sophia Fike. Granddaughter, Jennifer Capone Brown. Great grandchildren, Jacob Yoh, Kylee Brown and Logan Brown. Grandson, Theodore Capone, husband to Lindsay Capone. Great grandchildren, Mackenzie Capone, Isabella Capone and Dominic Capone. Daughter, Teresa Martzall, wife of Kevin Martzall. Granddaughter, Samantha Korczykowski, wife to Mark Tripoli. Great grandson Wesley Tripoli. Grandson, Keith Korczykowski. Son, Daniel Serba, husband to Courtney Serba. Granddaughter, Alicia Serba. Great granddaughter Peyton Desnoyers. Grandson, Daniel Serba. He was pre-deceased by: wife, Janet Boyer Serba, son, Theodore Serba III, great granddaughter, Delaney Brown, father and mother, Theodore Charles and Harriet Ustaszewski Serba, and brother Patrick Serba. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 14th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 AM at Gethsemane Chapel of the Resurrection. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Parish of St. Ann, 691 Garfield Parkway Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Arrangements entrusted to John P.
