Theresa R. Peck

Theresa R. (Bamert) Peck of Burlington Flats, NY, and formerly of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at the home of her daughter, Clarice Kartan in Burlington Flats, NY. Born January 18, 1937, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Dapolito) Bamert and sister to the late George and Bob Bamert. Theresa married the love of her life the late Charles Peck and they raised six children in Morris County, NJ. They moved to East Stroudsburg in 1992 and in 2021 she moved to Burlington Flats, NY. Theresa was a devout Catholic who loved the Lord with all her heart. She is survived by her six children: Charles Peck, Jr. and wife Bina Bou of Cave Creek, AZ, Glenn Peck of Silver City, NC, Bruce and wife Christine (Baggstrom) Peck of Supply, NC, Richard and wife Kathy (Ricany) Peck of East Stroudsburg, PA, Clarice Kartan of Burlington Flats, NY and Melissa Peck of Stewartsville, NJ; her 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The viewing will be on Thursday, September 4th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the William H Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA. There will be a private viewing for the family at 10:30 am on Friday, September 5th at the funeral home with a Mass to follow at 11:30 am across the street at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 818 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA. Burial will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine Cemetery, 3051 Green Pond Rd, Easton, PA 18045 at 1 pm. The repast will be at 2:15 pm at the Willow Tree Inn, 601 Ann St, Stroudsburg, PA.
