Virginia Gerhard Obituary

Virginia M. Gerhard, 92, of Wyomissing, passed away Tuesday, August 5th, at Country Meadows. Virginia was born in Reading, on May 24, 1933, a daughter of the late Viola (Bush) and Roy Sands. She was the widow of Kenneth W. Gerhard. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church; Virginia graduated from Reading High School. She retired as a custodian from Albright College, Reading. Virginia is survived by two daughters, Lynn, wife of Timothy Maginnis and Susan, wife of Brian Price. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Brooke, Vincent, Katie, Jessica and Mia and 7 great grandchildren. Virginia was predeceased by a son, James. Services and interment are private at the convenience of family. The Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1501 North 11th Street, Reading, is in charge of the arrangements.
