I am so sorry for your families loss.
Beginning in childhood, living next to the Baker family I often heard the words, "Sandy and Bill". When people spoke of "Sandy and Bill" it was if they were one person. When a couple is married a very long time that seems to happen, but for Sandy and Bill it was from the early days of thier marriage. A toast to Bill and loving thoughts I send out to Sandy and family as they navigate life without him.

We spent many fun filled family gatherings over the years. He was a great addition to the Grant family. It was a true blessing that his children held a wonderful Anniversary party for Sandy and him so we could all gather together again.

Bill, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.

Dad, it´s hard to say goodbye. You have given me 65 years of love , support and encouragement. I´m glad as I got older I learned how important you were to me. My life is complete knowing that we really could experience a father and son relationship. Thank you for being there for me.
I will always love and miss you.
Your son, Steven
