A. Peter Biondi

A. Peter Biondi, 94, of East Haven, formerly of Branford, passed away peacefully at CT Hospice on Saturday October 18, 2025. He was the husband of 71 years to Theresa Tufano Biondi. He is survived by his son Mark Biondi and his wife Maryann of North Andover, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael Cavic of Hampstead, NH, Kathryn Cavic of Amesbury, MA, and Kirsten Cavic of Hudson, NH, and 5 great grandchildren, Ellen Cavic, Ryan Cavic, Michael Cavic, Charlotte Warren, and Kane Warren. He was predeceased by his brother James Biondi, and his sisters, Theresa Lupoli, Helen Vaccaro, Rose Corsini, and Judith Funaro. Peter was born in New Haven on May 6, 1931, the son of Anthony and Madeline Biondi. His career spanned many decades in the paper industry and ultimately becoming Purchasing Manager of the Chatfield Paper Company which was later sold to Butler Paper Company, a division of Georgia Pacific. Having gained knowledge of industrial products, Peter transitioned into industrial sales with accounts such as Yale University and Electric Boat. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. A funeral service will be held on Monday October 27 at 11:00 A.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Family and Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00.
