Anthony Spino Obituary

Waterbury. CT

Anthony J. "Beansie" Spino, 70, of Waterbury, entered into the Gates of Heaven unexpectedly on Tuesday October 14, 2025 at his residence.

Beansie was born in Waterbury on January 3, 1955, son of the late John E. and Rose Marie (Pascucci) Spino, Sr. He was raised and educated in Waterbury where he lived his entire life. He spent a lot of his youth working hard as a laborer and was a longtime member of the Connecticut Laborers Union Local 611, having worked for numerous construction companies and landscaping companies throughout his career until his retirement in 2010. He also enjoyed life, having spent time fishing whenever he could. Beansie also enjoyed gardening and was an avid UCONN men and women's basketball fan.

Beansie had a second chance at life after his battle with laryngeal cancer. He became the best version of himself and lived every day to its fullest. Unfortunately, he also had a long battle with addiction. Despite this, Beansie was known for his kind heart and generous nature. He would gladly give a stranger the shirt off of his back if he could.

Beansie leaves to honor and cherish his memory; two daughters, Andrea Spino (Timothy Wilson) of Cheshire and Danielle McAdam and her husband Michael of Plymouth, ME; three siblings, Linda Fercodini and her husband Gene of Wolcott, John E. Spino and his wife Patricia of Watertown, and Marie Torres and her husband Joseph of Brookfield; two grandchildren, Hayley and Kody McAdam of Plymouth, ME; his former wife Paula (Roy) Spino of Wolcott; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend who has seen him through the good times and the bad, William Gorman. Beansie is pre-deceased by his Aunt Concetta "Connie" Spino.

Arrangements: All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with Beansie's arrangements.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Anthony's honor to the Closer to Free Fund or the Yale Cancer Center.

No words for Beansie“s family. One of a kind, generous, funny and a overall great person. He loved his music for sure. May he rest in peace. Some people touch your heart and he was one
