Arianna Baez Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce our beloved Arianna Kristine Baez has passed this Monday, September 22nd, 2025. Arianna, or Ari, had a soul like no other. Her kindness and compassion will live on. To us, she was more than just our daughter, sister, family and friend. She was a beacon of light and joy that made our family complete. She was also a beacon of light and joy to everyone she met.
Arianna was born on May 9th, 2004 in Bethesda, Maryland. From the moment she was born she brought smiles and laughter to those around her. Throughout her time on earth she touched countless lives with her compassion, warmth, cheer and her beautiful fighter spirit. Arianna was a fighter through and through.
Here's a bit about Arianna if you didn't already know: Ari had this *not so little* cat named Mittens that she adored. If you knew Ari, you knew Mittens. There's only a few other things that she valued that much. She loved her family and friends more than anything. Whether it was a party, event, or even just a chill hangout, she was always present and loving to be there. Another thing about Ari is that she loved to be clean and tidy! If you stepped into her room you know exactly what we mean! Growing up she loved the beach (our little dolphin), doing her hair and makeup, and listening to her music. When it came to her siblings, she was always protective, always making sure they were good. She bragged all the time about how proud she was of her family, and you could hear that love in her voice every single time. That's who Arianna was. Full of love, full of care, and full of pride for the people she loved most.
She is survived by her family who loved her beyond measure: Lisamarie Baez (Mother), Jazmin Baez (Sister), Doniveah Wimberly (Sister), Delanyah Wimberly (Sister), Maribel Torres (Grandma), Michael Buonanducci (Uncle), Daniel and Dana Buonanducci (Uncle/Aunt) Rene A Vasquez (Father), Gesille Gomez Vasquez (Stepmother), Nixon Vasquez (Brother), Atlas Vasquez (Brother), Sevyn Vasquez (Sister), Sadie Vasquez (Sister), Dinora Vasquez (Grandmother), Rene Vasquez (Grandfather), Jennifer Vasquez (Aunt), Gissel Vasquez (Aunt), and her cousins: Joshua Vasquez, Dianalyz Buonanducci, Nelly Marie Buonanducci , and Emmy Buonanducci. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
As a family, we will honor Arianna's life and the love she gave us by gathering for both a wake from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 25th and a service from 10-11:30 AM on Friday, September 26th at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating her life.
Though our hearts are broken, we are comforted in knowing that Arianna's light will continue to shine through the love she shared with each of us. Her memory will live on in our hearts always.
