Bethany Lee Duguay

Bethany Lee Duguay, 45, of Venice, Florida passed away on September 20, 2025. Bethany was born on January 9, 1980, in New Britain, Connecticut and grew up in Middletown, Connecticut, where she graduated from Mercy High School. Bethany moved to Venice, Florida in 2020 and became a receptionist at Lenka Hair Salon. Bethany loved the beach and enjoyed spending time playing board games and her favorite card game, Skip-Bo, with her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved children, Jonathan Duguay (son), Annalise Duguay (daughter), and Phil Wilderman, who was the love in her life. Phil took great care of Bethany, especially these last few months. She is also survived by her Godmother, Margaret Cushing and Roger Velazquez, who was like a father to Bethany. In addition, she is also survived by her extended Gonzalez family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanne Ruiz, father, Enrique Gonzalez, and maternal grandmother, Helen Cushing. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
