Carmela Ferretti

Carmela Pisano Ferretti 94, of East Haven beloved wife of 52 years to the late Joseph F. Ferretti passed away on February 21, 2025 surrounded by her family at her home. Loving mother of Cynthia Ferretti of Branford and Joseph F. (Laura) Ferretti and Paul R. Ferretti all of East Haven. Grandmother of Christina, Joseph, Bryanna and Alycia Ferretti. Great grandmother of Payton Rose Bakutis and Jaxen Joseph Ferretti. Sister of Frank R. (Jennette) Pisano of East Haven and Vincent (Pamela) Pisano of North Haven. Mother-in-law of Jackie Ferretti of Las Vegas. Carmela is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Carmela was born in New Haven on February 17, 1931 daughter of the late Frank and Rose DePoto Pisano. Prior to her retirement, Carmela was an administrator for Local 443. She was a 1949 graduate of Commercial High School.Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service WEDNESDAY morning February 26, 2025 in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call WEDNESDAY morning from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.
