Daniel Rose Obituary

Daniel F. Rose, 60, of Westfield, passed away on October 19, 2025. Born in Westfield on December 5, 1964, Daniel was a lifelong resident of the city. He attended local schools and was a proud graduate of Westfield High School. For many years, Daniel worked as a custodian for the Westfield Public Schools, where he was known for his dedication and friendly spirit. Daniel enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to his garden, and following NASCAR. He also had a deep appreciation for country western music. He leaves his brother, Paul Rose, and sister-in-law, Sandy Rose, both of Westfield; his nieces, Catherine Rose of North Granby, CT, and Monica Rose of Westfield; his nephew, Kevin Rose of Westfield; and his cousins, Ross and Neal Swientisky, who were always there to help and support him. He was pre-deceased by his parents Elaine and Gerald Rose and his brothers Stephen and Marty Rose. Daniel will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and love of simple pleasures.
