Darren Treadwell Obituary
It is with extreme anguish that we announce the tragic death of our dear son Darren Treadwell, Jr.
Darren was prematurely born into this world on May 16, 1994, and prematurely taken away on September 16, 2025; leaving a gaping hole in the hearts of those who loved him.
Darren was the loving charismatic son of Darren (Kim) Treadwell, Sr., and Barbara Hall.
Darren leaves to continue his legacy, two sons, his precious baby boys Yohan and Xavier Treadwell whom he loved beyond measure.
He also leaves behind his only surviving sibling Dareena "Shay" Treadwell and her three daughters: his beautiful, rambunctious nieces, Madison Winston, Novalis and Myaura Figueroa.
He leaves a massive hole in the heart of his only living grandparent, Mattie Dent whom he shared a special bond with, and who was a pillar of support, comfort and strength in Darren's life, he also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and associates. Those who fell asleep in death prior to Darren were his siblings, Destiny and Bobby Clifton Treadwell, his grandparents, Nadine "Nada" and Larry Green, and James Mitchell. Although not bound by blood Larry "Pa" Green and James Mitchell were the best grandfathers in the world in the eyes of Darren. They were two of his favorite people and spending time with them was amongst the highlights of his life. They were important male figures in Darren's life, and he mourned the loss of them both, along with all who knew them.
Darren's biological grandfathers, Clifton Dent and Bobby Treadwell did not live long enough to meet their handsome, compassionate, intelligent grandson. It is our hope that they will get that opportunity when united after the resurrection as foretold in God's word the bible. His grandfathers would have been elated to have a grandson such as Darren.
Darren graduated from East Hartford High School in East Hartford, Connecticut. He briefly attended Lincoln Technical College in Windsor, Connecticut to study HVAC.
Darren was a self-taught herbalist. He mastered the science and art of using herbs to promote good health and cleanse the body. Many in his family have benefited from his knowledge and expertise on what to take in place of traditional medicines in order to avoid the side effects and complications that come with taking modern day prescription meds. Darren was a champion for good health and clean eating. He was passionate about ensuring that his family was healthy and utilized the natural remedies that God provided.
Darren's second greatest passion was the study of genealogy. He spent countless hours researching and investigating his parents' family history and lineage. He successfully traced both his parents' family line back to Native American Tribes. He would take great pride in teaching us all exactly where we came from. It was an educational, enlightening experience and brought us all closer together as a family. It was important to him, thus making it important to us all, and we were all truly thankful for his gift.
Darren worked security for Channel 3 News, he learned automotive repair and worked successfully as a junior technician, and during his final days he operated a forklift working as a warehouse associate for Amazon. Darren was a hard worker and always had an eagerness to learn new things.
Darren was truly a kind and gentle soul. He deserved so much better from this life. He was an amazing human being and had so much love to give. He is missed now and forever will be. There is no repair for the break he left in the hearts of those who loved him. He was and will always be a blessing to everyone that knew him. He was definitely a "Noble" individual; loved, cherished, and valued.
