David W. Bozzuto

WATERBURY, CT David William Bozzuto "Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother" David William Bozzuto, age 67 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2025 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Kim (Marinara) Bozzuto. David was born June 5, 1958 and raised in Waterbury, a son of the late Ludivico and Jeannine (Fusco) Bozzuto. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School class of 1976. Dave first worked at PeterPaul Hershey in Naugatuck then Perfection Screw & Rivet in Wolcott for many years. After his retirement, he worked part time at Shop Rite & at Lakewood Lanes. Dave was a huge sports enthusiast, dedicated to his New York Yankees, New York Giants & Boston Celtics. Aside from watching sports he spent much of his time umpiring baseball games & bowling with his league. He was a man with a heart of gold, who loved nothing more than to spend time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Kim Bozzuto, his daughter Jenna Gardner, son-in-law Greg Gardner, his 3 grandchildren Madison, Kaycee and Jack Gardner and his daughter Kayla Bozzuto. He is also survived by his brother Nick Bozzuto and his wife Marie and his sister Joanne Johnson, his sister and brother in law Robin & Rich Guisti and his sister-in-law Lisa Cyr. He also leaves a niece, many nephews, cousins & friends. Arrangements: Funeral services for David will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family. Calling hours Saturday from 2:00 PM until the service at 4:00.
