Florence Clark Obituary

Florence Sue Clark, affectionately known as "Flossie," age 71, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at UConn Health Hospital in Connecticut, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 15, 1954, in Philadelphia, Flossie was the beloved daughter of the late Charles J. Hitchens and Peggy J. Pifer. She was the cherished sister of the late Vera Ellen Hitchens and Linda Lee Hitchens, and is survived by her siblings Charles Joseph Hitchens, Milky Way Floyd, and Millicent Debra Lore. Flossie was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, where she worked various jobs over the years and dedicated her life to supporting and caring for her children and grandchildren. Family was the center of her world, and her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved most. She was predeceased by her devoted sons John Francis Nieves, Henry Jones, and Anthony Clark. Her legacy of love continues through her daughter Albert "Shorty" Liverpool; her grandchildren Keirah Clark, Francis Clark, Anthony Clark III, Skye Clark, Storm Clark, Rayne Clark, Demitri Clark, Vito Clark, Enoch Clark, and Mariah Clark; and her great-grandchildren Alexander Minton and Anastazia Minton. Flossie leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and faith that will continue to live on through her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.
