Florence Maillet Obituary

Florence Ellen Maillet 94, formerly of Hartford and Waest Hartford, CT passed away on October 14, 2025, at The Guilford House in Guilford, CT. She was born on January 4, 1931, in Hartford, CT the youngest child of the late Percy and Gladys (Brown) Maillet. Florence graduated from Bulkeley High School 1949 and retired after 46 years as an Executive Secretary at Factory Insurance Association / Industrial Risk Insurers in Hartford. In her retirement, she enjoyed reading, knitting, and watching UCONN basketball. Florence was predeceased by her brother and sister: Charlotte Maillet, Paul Maillet, Margaret Bouchard, Barbara Gasparini, Mary Dunphy, and Anne Liebler. She is survived by 17 nieces and their families. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm, followed by a Catholic Service at 12:00pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
