Frances Drezek

Frances (Chojnowski) Drezek, 82, of New Britain, passed away on Saturday, November 1 at the Hospital of Central CT. She was the widow of Roger Drezek with whom she enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Frances was employed many years as a secretary at The Aetna Insurance Company in Hartford. After retirement, and becoming a certified Gemologist, Frances worked at several jewelry stores in West Hartford and Middletown. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Rick and Karen Drezek of Plainville; her nephew, Craig Drezek, and his children, Christopher and Cara. She also leaves her adopted family at Worthington Manor in East Berlin, where she resided for the past three years. Her family is very thankful for the care she was given there, and at the Hospital of Central CT. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St. New Britain. Frances will be lovingly laid to rest besides her husband Roger in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
