Francisco Jose Palma

Francisco "Frank" Palma, 60, of Vernon, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and family after courageously living with Stage IV lung cancer for eight years. Born in Portugal to the late Joseph Maria Palma and Antonia Maria Polido da Silva, Frank built a life grounded in love, family, and quiet strength. He spent 25 years as a Master Aerospace Inspector with Paradigm Precision (now Pursuit Aerospace), where his attention to detail and strong work ethic earned him the respect and friendship of many. Frank was the devoted husband of Kimberley, with whom he shared 33 wonderful years of marriage, and the proud father of their beloved sons, Scott and Andrew. Being their dad was his greatest joy - his days were happiest when spent alongside them, guiding, teaching, and simply loving them with all his heart. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering love. Frank was known for his kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. He opened his heart and home to everyone, always willing to help a friend or neighbor in need. Even during his hardest days, he found reasons to smile and strength in those he loved most. He is survived by his wife Kimberley (Johns) Palma; their sons, Scott and Andrew; his brothers, Jose and Patty Palma Jr. and George Palma; his mother-in-law, Judy Johns; his sisters-in-law Sharon and Mark Sacchi, Darlene and Michael Wentworth, and his brothers-in-law Richard and Jennifer Johns, and Jason and Veronica Johns; and his many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his nephew, Ze Palma and most recently by his father-in-law, Richard Johns. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street in Manchester, with calling hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with funeral service to begin at 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at Georgina's Restaurant in Bolton from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Frank's memory be made to one of his favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, No Kid Hungry, or the ASPCA. Frank was, above all, a good man. His love, humor, and strength will live forever in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
