Gloria M. Mozzicato

Gloria (Mucci ) Mozzicato, 95, passed away on October 19, 2025. Gloria was born in Meriden, CT on August 2nd, 1930 and was the fourth child of six. Other than the 10 years she lived in Denver, Gloria spent her entire life living in Meriden. Gloria married Joe Mozzicato, on April 15th, 1950. They were married for 54 years until his passing in 2004. Gloria was always a hard worker throughout her life. She was not a stay-at-home mother and in addition to being a great mother was an important contributor to the family financially. Gloria mainly worked in administrative jobs with her last one being over 30 years with Ulbrich Steel in Wallingford CT. Gloria was always a caring person. She would happily help her family and friends in any way that she could. In addition to her family Mom had many friends throughout her life that she kept in touch with for many years. She was a good friend and well-liked by all. Gloria was an avid UCONN basketball fan. She had season tickets to the women's team for many years and followed both the men's and women's programs. Gloria enjoyed watching them play whether it be on TV or in person. She never missed a game. Gloria is survived by her daughter Gail Mozzicato, son Nick Mozzicato, daughter in law Debby Mozzicato and her two grandchildren Nicholas Mozzicato and Jacky Mozzicato. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Joe Mozzicato, her five brothers and sisters and good friend Rocco Alia.
