To the Walts Family,
Janet was one of the pillars of my life. She was one of my Mom´s best friends. Knowing her from the time I was born, the memories are many. Her obituary describes her perfectly, especially the saint part. One of my earliest memories is eating dinner with Jay at the little half moon table that once was in her kitchen. It was my first time eating beets. Jay was not pleased, but I loved them! Whenever I eat them, I think of Janet. There were also the camping trips in Otis, seeing "Private Eyes" in the movie theatre, eating dinner at Hardee´s, and getting back home after midnight, as well as the trips to Robinson State Park. Of course, there was the trouble I caused too, breaking a lamp shade, prank calling her, and other mischievous behaviors! Janet took everything in stride. I always thought of her as my very own Carol Brady, the perfect mother and wife. All four of her kids grew up to be upstanding citizens and are a definite testament and legacy to her. I will miss our visits. Thank you, Janet, for being such a faithful friend to my Mom right up to the end. I will keep that message you left for me the rest of my life. Thank you for putting up with my antics in my younger days and still welcoming me into your life. I will never forget you and will always love you.
