Mr. Jeffery Bernard Jones

Mr. Jeffery Bernard Jones, 57, gained his eternal wings and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2026 in West Haven, CT.

Jeffrey was born on October 28, 1968 in New Haven, the youngest son to the late James McKinley "Ken" Jones Sr. and Brenda (Cross) Jones Agnew.

Jeffery was educated in the New Haven Public Schools, graduating from James Hillhouse High School in 1987, Jeff had many talents and pursued many careers, including working as a hairstylist, interior design, and substance abuse counselor. Jeffery loved his family deeply and fiercely, especially his children, nieces, and nephews. He loved God and knew the Word and would tell anyone who needed to hear it about the goodness and love of God. When Jeffery entered the room, you knew he was there and he made a point to make you feel love when you were in his presence. Jeff loved fashion and made a statement with his clothes. He was not a trend follower but a trend setter with everything he wore. Jeff loved to take pictures of himself as well as family and friends. He loved music and his favorite artists were Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige. Jeffery also loved to watch movies and had a great love for the Twilight Series Saga and X-Men.

He leaves to cherish and honor his memory his brothers, Darrell Jones, James McKinley "Junior" Jones Jr. and Tyrese Dingle of Connecticut, one sister; Annette (George) Moody of North Carolina, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and a host of friends including his best friend, Dinita Moreland, his former wife, the love of his life since middle school, Denise Rawls Jones, her children, Christina Richardson and Ronald Stewart Jr., and granddaughter, Jahzara Jenkins. He was predeceased by one niece Brittany Jones.
