Larry Crutchfield, 67, Hartford, CT departed this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Born on July 17, 1958, in Tunica, MS to Dorothy L. Crutchfield and the late Nathaniel Fraiser. Larry was known for his playful spirit and extreme energy. He loved to play basketball and was a fan of the San Francisco 49'ers. Larry loved watching western movies, and had a deep passion for music, his favorite band was the Bar-Kays. Larry never outgrew his love for cartoons. Even though his health declined, he continued to bring laughter to everyone around him. Larry lived a joyful life filled with love and happiness no matter what. He has left a void in the hearts of everyone that knew and loved him. Larry is lovingly remembered by his mother, Dorothy Crutchfield; his brother, Jerry Crutchfield; his children: Tauheedah McCoy, Tyvon Martin, Geniro Crutchfield and Theresa Kelley; a longtime companion, Brenda Brice (Tasha and Karma); he had so much love for his two extended brothers, Bobby Perry and Larry Henry. Larry was a proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is survived by four aunts: Maureen Gill, Ramona Kimble (Danny), Janet Randle and Mary Dixon as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and countless friends. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Latiesha (Keshia) Gunn; his brother Patrick, as well as his grandmother, uncles and aunts. TRIBUTE You have taken flight Larry..as you rise above the horizons, just know that you will be forever loved and missed, every time we think of you, you will be missed. So, Rest In Peace Larry, you fought a great fight and the love and joy you shared with others will never be void in our lives, WE CHERISH YOUR MEMORY FOREVER.
