Lois Bayard Dias

Lois (Bayard) Dias, 80, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. Lois was born March 9, 1945, daughter of the late Russell and Francis Bayard. She retired after years of service at SNET then became a very loved employee of Stop & Shop in Wallingford where she formed many unforgettable friendships. Throughout her life, she found her greatest joy and fulfillment in the love and devotion she shared with those closest to her. Her family was her proudest accomplishment, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their care, guidance, and happiness. Her legacy of love, strength, and unwavering commitment will continue to live on through the generations who were blessed to know and love her. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J Dias Jr. She is survived by her children- James Kremzar (Jody), Heidi Baker (Gary), David Kremzar (Karen), Amy Coleman, Anthony J Dias III (Maria), Debra Chasse, Vincent Dias, and Mark Dias (Maria). Her grandchildren- Dianna Kremzar Barry (Stephen), Michelle Leavitt (Marc), Mathew Kremzar, Christopher Chasse, Jennifer Chasse Schmitt (Brendan), Nicole Mason (Daniel), Anthony Dias (Ashley), Sarah Coleman Rojas (Jose), Ryan Corcoran, Andrew Coleman (Lauren), Joseph Dias, Brittany Dias, Zachary Kremzar, Christina Kremzar, and Benjamin Baker. Additionally, her great grandchildren- Joseph Kremzar, Alexis Barry, Gabba Barry, Landon Leavitt, Mia Leavitt, Darek Kremzar, Cristiano Oliveira, Nicholas Barry, Charlotte Schmitt, Nathan Schmitt, Jackson and Austin Leavitt, Riley Mason, and Ellie Coleman. Departed before her, Carl Bayard (Brother), Allen Dias (Son), and Joshua Dias (Great grandson) Her family will receive friends and relatives in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., on Sunday, October 26th, from 1pm to 3pm. A funeral service will be held at 3pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
