Marilyn Hollister Obituary

Marilyn (Willette) Hollister, 69 of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Hollister. Marilyn was born on February 12, 1956 in Hartford, CT, to the late Earl and Pauline (St. Peter) Willette. She grew up in East Hartford and had resided in Enfield for the past 26 years. Marilyn retired from Iron Mountain Records Management Co. after 20 years of service. Marilyn enjoyed watching Blue Bloods and Big Band Theory, loved crafting, and to make others laugh, she was a Red Sox fan, but mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Marilyn is survived by her son Matthew Hollister of Enfield, stepson Scott Hollister & wife Becky of Vernon, CT, step daughter Susie Sutton & husband Butch of McMinnville, OR, four beloved grandchildren; Patrick, Carl, Tony, and Peter. She is also survived by a sister Margaret "Peg" Durso of East Windsor, CT and a brother Raymond Willette of Presque Isle, ME, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother Timothy Willette, a sister Sandra Archer, a stepdaughter Rae-Lee Hollister and best friend Nannette "Nanny" Inglis. Service for Marilyn are private at the convenience of family. Interment will be in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
