Mary B. Blazinski

Mary Broderick Blazinski, 99, of Manchester, died March 26, 2025. She was born in Hartford, July 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Broderick. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 71 years, Joseph Blazinski. She leaves behind four children, Janet Vrecenak and husband Robert of Bolton CT, Karen Gartman of Manchester CT, Joseph Blazinski and wife Leslie of Manchester CT, and Ellie Doane of Manchester CT.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Scott Graff of Birmingham Alabama, Jacob Blazinski, Joshua Blazinski, and Ashley Montford (Will) of Manchester CT, and Michael (Kat), Craig (Jessica), and Sharon Krawjewski. Her great grandchildren are Daxton, Dawson, Landon, Mackenzie, Mia and Lexi. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers Walter, Andrew and Joseph, and her son-in-law Michael Doane.
Mary was a 1943 graduate of Hartford High School. After graduation she worked in factories supporting the World War II effort, then at Travelers Insurance Company until starting a family. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church in Manchester. Mary loved to go dancing, bowling, traveling all over the country with Joe and family & friends, crocheting, tennis and the New York Yankees. But more than anything she enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will miss her dearly.
Holmes Funeral Home in Manchester is in charge of funeral arrangements. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, April 3rd at St. Bartholomew Church located at 736 Middle Turnpike E. Manchester, CT at 10am followed by Burial at East Cemetery, located at 220 East Center Street, Manchester CT.
