Michele Sindland

Michele Sindland, 54 of West Hartland CT passed away on February 27, 2025. Born June 18, 1970, in Winsted; to Robert and Donna (Sherman) Ensminger of Naples, Florida and Winchester Center. Michele was the wife of the late Steven Sindland. She was mother to Danielle and Dylan Sindland. Michele worked for many years at The Hartford and Prudential Insurance companies as an accountant. She enjoyed camping and trips to Disney and Universal Studios with her family and friends. Michele loved growing her herbs and had many vegetable gardens and loved working with her flowers in the summer. In addition to her parents, Michele is survived by her two children, Danielle Sindland and Dylan Sindland; her sister, Brenda Tracy and husband Keith; brother, Jason Ensminger and wife Krystal; and sister-in-law, Kathy Sindland. She is also survived by nephews, Patrick Tracy and wife Marisa, Jonathan and Matthew Tracy and Nate Sindland and wife Amanda; niece, Makayla Ensminger; great nephews, Oliver and Lucas Tracy; great niece, Hailey Sindland; aunt and uncle, Lawrence and Marta Sherman; and many cousins and friends. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her close cousin, Wendy Sherman; grandparents, Maurice and Joan Sherman and in-laws, Gail and Lloyd Sindland. Friends may call on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 11:30 – 12:30 PM with a funeral service at 1 PM.
