Nicholas Cofrancesco Obituary

Nicholas Cofrancesco, 89, of New Haven passed away January 18, 2025 after a brief illness. He was born July 13, 1935, a son of the late Michael and Lillian Busher Cofrancesco and was a life long resident of New Haven. He was an inspector at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. Nicholas is survived by his sister, Irene Monroy of CA; brother Donald Cofrancesco of FL; and dear friend William L. MacPherson of North Branford. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Stygles; brothers Robert and George Cofrancesco. Nick was life long member and church council president at Emanuel Lutheran Church. He was quick to greet one with a smile and a laugh, and a constant joy to all his dear and loving family and friends, including his faithful four-legged companion, Zasu. While our hearts are now shadowed by his sudden loss, they will be comforted soon by bright and warm memories of him. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Sunday January 26th from 3-5 p.m. at BEECHER AND BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden and are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday January 27th at 11 a.m. in the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 280 Humphrey St. New Haven.
