Patrick Stenson

Our beloved Patrick (Pat) Oneal Stenson, Sr. departed this life peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of sixty-one. Pat was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a man of few words known for his quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and infectious laugh. He was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School. He later earned his electrician certification at Porter and Chester Institute and worked at Simpkins for many years. Pat will be eternally missed and remembered by his wife and life partner of 43 years, Marian Stenson; daughters; Troshara Stenson, Laquida Lennon, and bonus daughter Keisha Keith whom he developed a personal close relationship with; son, Patrick Stenson, Jr.; his grandchildren, Leniyah Crenshaw, Lee Crenshaw, Khole Wiley, Lauryn Stenson, and Jayme Stenson, all of New Haven, CT; his brothers, Albert James Josey, and Keith Lamont Josey, sisters Carla Alexander, and Nicole Josey. Pat also leaves to cherish his memory his extended family: Mother-in-law, Marian Davis, Brothers-In- Law; Michael Wooten, Moniel Wooten , John Davis III (Toni), Anthony Davis (Shonda), Edmund Comfort (Queta), Andre Davis and John Davis IV, Sisters-In-Law; Margaret Wooten, Carla Davis, Monita Davis, Malika Comfort, Kenya Comfort-Clark (Joe), Johanna Davis, and Denise Canady (Devonne). Best friend Lovale Morrison, and many other relatives and friends Pat was preceded in death by his parents. His devoted mother, Jessie Stenson, who raised him with love and care, and father Alfred Jones, Jr. He is survived by his biological mother, Harrietta Josey
