Paul Alfred Folta

Paul Alfred Folta, 81, of Windsor, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Hebrew Home in West Hartford. Paul was born September 28, 1943, in Holyoke, MA to the late Frank Folta and Christine Keller Folta. He graduated from Holyoke High School, class of 1961, where he played basketball. Furthering his education, Paul later graduated from Hamden School of Pharmacy and served as a Pharmacist in the Vietnam War from 1967-1970 and later received an Honorable Discharge. After retiring, Paul settled in Sandsfield, MA, where he took pleasure in landscaping and upkeeping his property. When he wasn't busy around the house, he enjoyed watching movies and football. Paul recently relocated to Windsor, CT so he could be closer to his family. Paul will forever be remembered as a generous and kind man that made people laugh. Paul leaves to celebrate his memory his twin sister Susan Chagnon and her husband Carl "Ki" Chagnon; his former wife, Rosemarie Folta; daughter, Amy Folta; stepdaughter, Shelly Quirk; grandson, Michael J. Quirk; sister-in-law; Lucile Folta, and a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
