Peter Kennedy Obituary

Peter Kennedy, 70, of Wallingford, husband of Deborah Richard-Kennedy, passed away peacefully, March 31, 2025 at his home. Pete was born in New Haven on September 2, 1954, son of the late Robert and Mary (Vezina) Kennedy. Pete owned and operated Pete's General Contracting in Wallingford for over 40 years. Pete took great pride in his work. Pete was a teacher and mentor to many with his vast wealth of knowledge and skills in many fields. Pete was a lifelong Harley rider who had a love for riding in the mountains of New Hampshire. He was a friend to many, affectionately known to many as "Big Pete, Big Guy and Uncle Pete." He loved to see kids' eyes light up when he played Santa In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by his son, T.J. He will be missed by "The Girls," Bailey, Tess and Roxy. It was a long ride with many miles traveled over a 9-year battle with cancer. You fought until the end. You will be missed by many. RIDE FREE. Pete was such a nice, and friendly guy and I had the privilege of meeting his son in a history class. (he was the only one who showed an interest!!!) My condolences to his family.
