Philip Weisinger Obituary
He did his residency in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and another residency in allergy medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
He served in the U.S. military as a captain and doctor for two years, from 1965-1967, in Fort Devens, MA.
He joined an allergy practice in New Haven, where he practiced for 50 years. He was very dedicated to his patients.
Philip is survived by his wife of 67 years and three daughters. He also leaves seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Dr. Weisinger treated my dad 35-40 years ago in New Haven. My dad struggled with MS and allergies. He was kind to our entire family and my mom still talks about him to this day!
His family should be extremely proud of his kind soul.

I was a long-time patient of Dr Weisinger. When he announced his retirement, I was deeply saddened but I am more saddened to hear of his passing. I always loved to see him for my appointments. He was so kind and a good listener. He will be deeply missed.

Dr. Weisinger was my allergist for years until I moved. He was the best. A very caring professional which is uncommon these days. Great staff, too. He will be missed by many!

Dr Weisinger was my Dr. many years ago along with my two children. He was a great Dr. and always listened to our issues and handled them well. In the fall we talked about our favorite subject, Giants Football. I´ll carry the burden from here Dr. Rest in peace you will be missed.

I am sad to read of Dr. Weisinger's passing. He was my allergist as a young adult and later became a favorite of my children as their allergist. He was the kindest, most caring individual; not to mention how smart he was.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Dr. Weisinger. He was such a warm and caring man. I can only imagine what a wonderful husband, father, grand and great grandfather he was because of the care and concern he gave his patients. My deepest condolences for such a great loss.

I was a patient of Dr. Weisinger for over 40 years as was my mother before me as we both suffered from allergies of different types which he was able to diagnose and treat.
My sincerest condolences to his wonderful family that he spoke of so lovingly.
He greeted each of his patients with such caring and concern.
He was a genius in his field and we are all so blessed to have been treated by such a compassionate and dignified
Gentleman Doctor.
I will always be thankful for having known him and will never forget him.

Dr. Weisinger was my allergist for YEARS. I always loved going to see him (even though I had shots every time) because he was so kind and friendly. He always hired the best staff, who were so helpful to me. I hadn't seen him in years, but always thought of him, hoping he and the nurses were doing well. His kindness will live with me forever. He is the standard for any doctor I have now. May his memory be a blessing.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I was a patient of Dr. Weisinger's for 40+ years and he was not only a brilliant diagnostician and allergist, but a caring and compassionate person. Also, he had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss him.

My whole family went to him .he saw me at a very early age for allergy shots .I still went to him as an older adult because no one knew me better & I trusted him .he was a kind , intelligent very funny man ,I'll miss him
