Ronald Joseph Fredericks, 64, of Seymour, loving husband of 39 years to Barbara (Burt) Fredericks, passed away on October 24, 2025. He was born in Milford, CT on May 26, 1961, the son of the late John and Carol (Kuehn) Fredericks. In addition to his wife, Ronald leaves his loving children Kristy Sonstroem and her husband Joel, and Paul Stanley Fredericks. He also leaves his grandchildren Luke and Marion Sonstroem and brother-in-law and lifelong best friend Charles "Chuck" Burt. Ron grew up in Seymour and went on to have a unique and inspiring career. In addition to working as a CNC machinist at Northeast Electronics for over 30 years, he worked behind the music scene with the rock group KISS from the 1980's through the early 2000s as their audio video consultant and has been recognized several times in published works by the band. His other creative endeavors include being the lead singer in a band playing at Toad's Place, opening up for Foreigner and a variety of other well-known venues and artists. He was proud to publish two children's books as well as prided himself for his connections to many celebrities (music, sports, etc. Including Dan Hill, Hilly Michaels, Gene Simmons, and Muhammad Ali) who would call and write him often. He was a member of the Seymour Lion's Club, an active bowler until he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Despite physical limitations, he never slowed down, always trying to run 5Ks, host community events, and spent time with his family. He especially loved telling jokes, relaxing by a bonfire, and watching movies and old sports games.
