Segisbert Edwards

Segisbert Edwards,87, of Bloomfield, CT., passed away on September 17, 2025. He was born on June 10,1938 in Mount Providence, Clarendon, Jamaica to Rettenella Barnes and Clifford Edwards. Segisbert was a firefighter in his native Jamaica and a machinist in the aerospace industry in Connecticut. He enjoyed gardening, growing various vegetables, fishing with his friends, going on cruises and taking road trips with his family. Segisbert leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Madge, and his cherished sister, Thelma Chin. He was predeceased by his brother, Leroy Robinson. His children are Donna, Joy, Michael, Marcia, son-in-law Richard, and many nieces and nephews. Grandchildren Tyree, Daniel, Imari, Ralisha, and Steven. Great grandchildren Kenzie, Kingston, and Onyx. Segisbert's family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 5pm-8pm, at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT 06095. Funeral services will be held 11am, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Bloomfield Congregational Church, 10 Wintonbury Ave., Bloomfield, CT 06002. The interment will follow immediately after in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT 06002. We find comfort in knowing that Segisbert's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
