William J. "Mr. Bill" Corcoran Sr.

WATERBURY, CT William J. Corcoran, Sr. "Loving grandfather" William J. "Mr. Bill" Corcoran, Sr., 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 3, 2025 at VITAS at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the devoted husband of the late Theresa Agnes "Miss Aggie" (Pelletier) Corcoran who passed away in May of 2025. Bill was born in Waterbury on July 29, 1937, a son of the late Timothy F. and Louise (Pepe) Corcoran, Sr. After working for the family business, (Corcoran & Corcoran Moving & Storage), he became self-employed as a truck driver for Linden Motor Freight for over 28 years, retiring in 2001. Bill was a longtime member of the Rat Pack Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with Miss Aggie. He had a heart of gold, and was always there to lend a hand to anyone that needed his help. William leaves to honor and cherish his memory; two grandsons, William J. Corcoran, III and Zachary A. Corcoran both of Waterbury, who both were primary caregivers for William and Miss Aggie for many years; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends that were blessed to have known him. Besides his wife Aggie, Bill was predeceased by; his only son, William J. "Billy" Corcoran, Jr. who died December 30 , 2007, his only granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Corcoran, and six siblings, Edward, Timothy, John, and Concetta Corcoran, Mariann Allen and Louise M. Collella. Arrangements: All services for Bill are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
