Jessa Grimsley Obituary

Our hearts were touched forever on July 25, 2025, when Jessa Jo Grimsley was born sleeping in Quincy, Illinois. Though she never took a breath on this earth, she filled her family's hearts with immeasurable love and will be cherished for all eternity. Jessa is the beloved daughter of Zach and Sierra Grimsley and the treasured sister of Jaylynn and Judson Grimsley and Alexis (Marty) Grisham. She is the granddaughter of Elon and Jackie Baldwin, Steve Conger, and Bill Grimsley; and the great-granddaughter of Wendell and Sue Conger; aunts and uncles, Emily (Tyler) Hill, Geela (Brian) Ruckman, Cody Spann, Ben (Leighann) Steele, Margaret Dickerson, and Benjamin Foust; and several cousins also survive. She was welcomed in heaven by her grandmother Christa Grimsley, great grandparents Bernice and William Grimsley, great grandparents Chester and Imadel Poyser, great-grandmother Nina Lawber, and great-grandfather Junior Taylor. Jessa will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time. Her family takes comfort in knowing that while her time was brief, their love for her is endless. "I carried you for every second of your life, and I will love you for every second of mine." Arrangements have been entrusted to Niebur Funeral Home.
