Juanita Martin Obituary
Juanita "Nini" Martin, 86, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 5:05 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Brother W.C. Willis, and Brother Michael Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
Juanita was born May 10, 1939, in Hannibal, MO to Raymond Martin and Hazel Rickey Martin.
Survivors include her brother, Donald Martin (Kay) of Hannibal, MO; two sisters, Delores Wade of Hannibal, MO and Diana Campbell (Lynn) of New London, MO; and many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Carolyn Camden and Ethel Adams.
Professionally, Juanita was an Assistant Dietitian at Hannibal Regional Hospital from which she retired after 42 years.
Juanita found peace in planting and growing her beautiful flower garden. Fishing was one of Juanita's favorite hobbies. Her creativity shone brightly in the quilts she crafted, each stitch a testament to her meticulous care and artistic vision. Juanita's heart was never more full than when she was hosting holidays for her family. The aroma of her homemade hot rolls, is a cherished memory that will linger in the hearts of her family forever. As a hard worker, Juanita's dedication knew no bounds. Her selflessness shone through in her willingness to always put others before herself, and her love for work was an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to witness it. Above all, Juanita's love for children was the cornerstone of her life. She played a role in raising three generations of her family, imparting wisdom, love, and a sense of security that will echo through the ages.
Juanita's commitment to her community was evident through her unwavering service as a volunteer at Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary and her devotion to her church, where she lovingly crafted homemade noodles for countless gatherings.
Juanita was Pentecostal by faith.
Pallbearers will be Trey Martin, Scottie Wade, Jason Wade, Brandon Brosi, Gregory Adams and Chad Campbell.
