June Audrey Erdel

Memorial services for June Audrey Erdel, 97, of Laddonia, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia, with Pastor Chris Atkinson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Erdel passed away at 1:35 AM, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Arbors in Mexico. June was born on May 25, 1928, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara Littel Frieden. She married John Allen Trower and he preceded her in death on November 1, 1960. She then married Daniel "Dan" Erdel on February 15, 1965 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2024. Survivors include two daughters; Peggy (Jim) Davidson of Paris and Beth (Philip) Whelan of Monroe City, two brothers; Joseph Frieden of Curryville and Jerry Frieden of Texas, three sisters; Jackie Doughterty of Bowling Green, Judy Freymuth of Lake St. Louis, and Joyce Dudley of Mexico, nine grandchildren; Melissa (Ed) Vitt, Robyn (Jason) Ragsdale, Jennifer Johnson, Payden (Ann) Whelan, Jeremy (Cheyenne) Whelan, Kimber (Wes) Nation, Tammie (Kyle) Nordhus, Valerie Stegall, and John Travis (Julia) Trower, twenty-four great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, one son; Gene Allen Trower, two brothers; Jimmie and Johnnie Frieden, two sisters; Jean Fisher and Joann Eibert, and one granddaughter; Justine Trower. June was a member of the Laddonia Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. Most of all, June loved spending time with her family and friends.
